Scoring In A Frogger Game

Frogger is one of the classic video games that mainly involve a single player or two at most. Having been introduced in the gaming world in 1982, frogger game is played by moving a frog from the bottom to the top of your computer's screen while at the same time avoiding as much as possible all the major obstacles that might stand on your way to winning. The screen is in most cases divided into two with the first one having a road full with traffic and the other one consisting of a river that determine how much you score during a game. When transporting the frog from one side to another, you will come across vehicles moving at very high speed which must be avoided to ensure you successfully complete the journey and score high points.

More Obstacles in the River

Once you have managed to cross to the other half, you will encounter more and more obstacles in the river most of which will be logs and turtles out to have the frog. To be in the course of winning the game, you still have to deal with these obstacles after which you can safely get past the river. If the frog reaches home without any problems then that adds up to your points as well as increase chances of winning but if it falls on the way to any of the obstacles then you will have to lose points and start afresh which makes frogger game interesting and enjoyable to play.

Other Options For Attracting More Points

Apart from the frog, this game has a fly which adds you more points in case the frog reaches home in its presence. There are other enemies found in the river like crocodiles and snakes that will stand in the way of a frog getting home and once you have managed to dodge them then that's another good source for additional points to your side. The frog can cross past the river in any manner including sitting on top of these obstacles but the problem is when it's eaten up by any because that will lead to a loss of points.

The frogger game has a time limit of 60 beats within which you can win a game or lose it. For a win, the game must be finished within the time frame failure to which you will be deemed to have lost. Therefore, the trick is to have the frog enter any of the five home bases given before the time expires.
