3 Horror Movies You Never Thought Would be Gay

Are you a big fan of the horror genre? If you are, then youve probably come across a few movies that made you cringe more than usual in your seat, not because it had special visual effects or it used the best make up or props, but because it gave you a sense that the horror film was actually a gay movie in disguise. Not that its considered a bad thing since we are living in a more tolerant time after all. For entertainments sake, lets look back at the top 3 horror movies that you never thought would be gay.

1 The Covenant

the covenant is a story about the leader of a male witch, Caleb, and a mysterious stranger turned into friend, Chase. In this realm where female students seem to be just part of the background, we have a budding bromance to focus on. If a naked locker room fight isnt enough to convince you of this movies strong gay storyline, then the magical kiss may just be the thing that you need to get jolted back into reality. Given that underneath all that testosterone lies a tale of classic male friendship and bonding, it still cannot take away the fact that in this story, boys just want to have fun literally.

2 - The Forsaken

If male witches just dont do it for you, then you might want to focus on number two on the list instead. In The Forsaken, we uncover a budding love affair between a mortal and a vampire even before Bella and Edward became the talk of the town. If youre totally convinced that the presence of a female in the movie is enough to make this movie straight, the get ready to be disappointed. Amidst the violence, the car chase and images of naked women, theres nothing else that can save this movie from turning into a gay flick. Maybe the fact that they run away together at the end of the movie or not.

3 - Nightmare on Elms Street

And last but not the least, the scariest of them all Freddy Krueger. In the second installment of the series, Freddy tries to get his revenge by setting his attention towards the male lead Jesse. Jesse is your typical teenager, awkward, insecure and sleeps with almost nothing on all the time. But its not his hot bod, or the total lack of it, that catches Freddys attention. Its the fact that he can easily be influenced into doing just about anything through dreams. Unfortunately, the scariest part about this movie has nothing to do with Freddy, its the S&M crazed coach whos been lusting after Jesses body when hes supposed to be a teacher that we can trust. Dont worry, he gets attacked by balls at some point anyway, and we mean, lots of it.

So there you have it. Next time you watch a horror film, make sure to look out for subtle and not so subtle gay storylines that can instantly turn your scary movie experience into a not so shocking one.
